Sleeping Giant Community Build is a community based volunteer organization, and an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven. We invite local businesses, religious organizations, civic groups, and individuals, to join with Habitat sponsored families, to eliminate poverty housing in the greater New Haven area.

Project IV Update
390 Gilbert Avenue, Hamden, CT Sleeping Giant Build sponsored this house, which formerly belonged to the Maselli family, as part of a 40-acre working farm. The house was built in the late 19th century and was acquired by Habitat from the Town of Hamden. We are grateful to the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation for providing information and guidance about restoring the house. Mother
